Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, September 20, 1948 Heart Attack Takes Fred Reeve, Barber Fred Virgil Reeve, 43, died yesterday at 10 a.m. of a heart attack at his home in Lewiston Orchards. He was born Jan. 8, 1905, at Frazee, Minn., and came west when 5 years old. He settled first at Orofino and had lived at Lewiston for several years. He was employed as a barber at Bushman's barber shop in downtown Lewiston, and was a member of the American Legion. He was married Aug. 8, 1933, to Silvia Hibbein. Survivors include his wife; two children, Alan, 4, and Lavonne, 2; two sisters, Miss Etta Reeve and Miss Irene Reeve, both of Seattle; and a brother, Frank Reeve, in Belgium. The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. |
