Lloyd A. Read Dead At Colfax Hospital

Lloyd A. Read, 51, a resident of Lewiston sine 1934, died yesterday morning at 11:15 at the Colfax hospital. He has been a general superintendent for the Kueny Construction Co. for 20 years.

Mr. Read was born at Oconee, Ill., Dec. 18, 1889, and came west in 1924. He first resided in North Dakota, then moved to Spokane and came to Lewiston in 1934. He was a member of the Eagles lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; two daughters, Loydene, Lewiston, and Mrs. Jean Rhodes, Spokane; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Read, Lewiston; three brothers, Lee, Thompson Falls, Mont., Edward, Grand Rapids, N. D., and William, Hoquiam; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Nolan, Sparaway, Wash., and Mrs. Newell Greeley, Emmett; and one granddaughter.
