Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, July 15, 1926 Mrs. Harriet Rader Dead Mother of Mrs. O. H. Lipps Victim of Complications Lapwai, July 14 - Mrs. Harriet Rader, mother of Mrs. O. H. Lipps, passed away at 2 o'clock this afternoon from complications resulting from an injured hip which Mrs. Rader sustained by a fall a week ago. Mrs. Rader was 74 years old and had made her home with her daughter for the last 11 years. She was a member of the Christian church and was an active worker for the Red Cross during the war period. Mrs. Rader was of a very kind disposition and during her residence in Lapwai and in Lewiston while the Lipps family resided there, she endeared herself to a wide circle of friends. Mrs. Lipps is the only surviving child but a brother, C. C. Avis, is a resident of Portland and will arrive tomorrow. The funeral arrangements will await his arrival and in the meantime the body is at the Brower-Wann parlors in Lewiston.
