Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, December 30, 1906 Death of James B. Preston Aged Man Died at County Hospital Yesterday. James B. Preston, aged 71 years, died a 8 o'clock yesterday morning at the county hospital after a short illness with nephritis. He had been living near the Snake river ferry and during the rainy weather had caught cold. He became an inmate of the hospital on December 20. Deceased was an old miner and had worked extensively in the central Idaho mines. Little of his life is known. He has a brother in Iowa and one in Montana, and has two sons, Hary L. and Ernest C., living at Coon Rapids, Iowa. His relatives have been communicated with and the funeral will be deferred until they can be heard from.
Lewiston Morning Tribune Funeral of James P. Preston. The funeral of James P. Preston, who died Saturday at the county hospital, will be held today from the Undertaking parlors, interment being in the Normal Hill cemetery. |
