Lewiston Morning Tribune Sat., Dec. 3, 1966 Annie C. Powers, New York Native, Dies Of Infirmities Mrs. Annie C. Powers, 86, 0117 22nd St., died of the infirmities of age at 12:05 yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Powers, who had been ill one week, was the widow of the late Michael Powers. She was born May 6, 1880, at Buffalo, N.Y. From 1914 until 1927 she resided at Lapwai. In 1927 she moved to Lewiston where she lived until her death. Survivors include a son, Bart H. Powers, Lewiston; four daughters, Mrs. Rex Swanson, Marysville, Wash.; Mrs. Ammie Bennish, Olympia, Wash.; and Mrs. Mary Bechtold and Mrs. Agnes Eckenwiler, both of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Patrick Phelan, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churc, officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.
