Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, September 30, 1948 Mrs. Daisy Potter Taken During Visit Mrs. Daisy Potter, about 70, was taken by death at a Portland hospital Monday night, according to word received yesterday. Mrs. Potter had gone to the Oregon city in August to visit her children and suffered a stroke Sept. 4. She had been in the hospital since. Mrs. Potter was born in Iowa Sept. 9, about 1878. On May 6, 1934, she married Chauncey Potter, engineer with the Camas Prairie railroad. She is survived by four children by a former marriage who live at Portland including three sons, Harry and Vern VanCleve and Adrian V. Erier, and one daughter, Mrs. Kay Robblee; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Forbes and Jeanette West, Portland; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild. One service is scheduled at Portland tomorrow at 1 p.m. The body will be sent to the Brower-Wann funeral home, Lewiston, for services tentatively scheduled Saturday at 10 a.m. burial will be in Normal Hill cemetery. |
