Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, February 2, 1940 Horace C. Pitt, 66, Is Taken By Death Horace C. Pitt, 66, 311 Silcott street, resident of Lewiston since 1909, died at St. Joseph's hospital shortly before noon yesterday of paralysis. A native of Iowa, born Sept. 27, 1873, Mr. Pitt came to Lewiston to work as lineman for the Camas Prairie railroad. For the last 10 years he has been a machinist. Before locating in Lewiston he was employed in railroad work at Livingston, Mont. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Pitt; his daughter, Mrs. John McDonald, Sitka, Alaska, and his brother, Bert Pitt, Salt Lake City, Utah. The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home. |
