Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, March 24, 1940 Illness Is Fatal To Mrs. Pickett Mrs. Juanita Geneva Pickett, 35, wife of William W. Pickett, 206 Eighteenth street, resident of Lewiston for the last 10 years, died at 11 a.m. yesterday at St. Joseph's hospital after a three-month illness of Bright's disease. Mrs. Pickett was born at West Baden, Ind., Nov. 30, 1904. Survivors include her husband, William W. Pickett; two daughters, Shirley Pickett and Dorothy Pickett; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olson, Freewater, Ore.; one brother and two sisters, Chester Olson and Mrs. Luther James, Freewater, and Mrs. W. J. Rogers, Williams, Calif. Mrs. Pickett was a member of the Get-Together and Poinsettia clubs and the Whitman P.T.A. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 from the Brower-Wann chapel, the Rev. Ervin E. Krebs officiating. Burial will be in Normal Hill cemetery. |
