George Penny died in this city last Monday. The deceased was a pioneer of Lewiston. He had been in various fields of labor almost from the first day of the settlement of the place till last year when failing health caused him to live a very quiet life. Mr. Penny had many friends and no enemies. He lived and died a bachelor.
