Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, September 22, 1947 Herman M. Paulsen Called By Death Herman M. Paulsen, 82, resident of Lewiston for the last three years, coming here from South Dakota, died last night at his home at 1117 Trevitt lane after a long illness. He was a retired farmer. A native of Denmark, born Jan. 26, 1865, he came to the United States when 28 years old and settled at Hot Springs, S. D. He was married 53 years ago at Deadwood, S. D., to Miss Karen Wraa. He was a communicant of the Lutheran church. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Welling, Spirit Lake; Mrs. Robert McMillan, Twin Falls; two sons, Alfred Paulsen, Lewiston, and Herman Paulsen, Twin Falls; his brother and his sister, Chris Paulsen and Mrs. Mary Carstensen, both of Whitewood, S. D., and nine grandchildren. The body is at Brower-Wann chapel with funeral arrangements pending.
