Lewiston Morning Tribune Sun., Dec. 24, 1950 Mrs. Jennie B. Patton Succumbs To Illness Mrs. Jennie B. Patton, 74, died at the Riverview rest home at 2:15 p.m. yesterday. She had been a patient there since September. Mrs. Patton was the widow of the late S. F. Patton, who died at Lewiston Jan. 28, 1942. She was born at Weyauwega, Wis., Oct. 5, 1876. She had been a resident of Clarkston and Lewiston for 18 years. She was a member of the Daughters of The Nile and of the Methodist church. After the death of her husband Mrs. Patton gave up her home and has lived at various times with her daughters and with a sister. The daughters, Mrs. Leslie Oliver, Clarkston; Mrs. W. C. Armond, Spokane, and the sister, Mrs. F. C. VandeWalker, Seattle, all survive as do three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Vassar-Rawls chapel at Lewiston with the Rev. Ralph Helseth of Clarkston officiating. Burial will be beside her husband at Normal Hill cemetery. |
