Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, June 29, 1965 Mrs. Ida Paris, 90, Claimed By Death Mrs. Ida May Paris, 90, a retired schoolteacher died at Orchards Nursing Home Sunday evening at 9:46 following a lengthy illness. Death was attributed to infirmities of age. Mrs. Parks was born in Adair County, Missouri, May 23, 1875, and moved to Oklahoma as a child. She received her education there and later taught school in Oklahoma. She was married to Arthur Paris in 1925 in Oklahoma. Following her husband's death in 1936, she moved to Woodland, Idaho, in 1941. She moved to Lewiston in 1944. She entered the nursing home in 1963. She was a member of the Orchards Community Congregational Church. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Nancy Smith, also at the nursing home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Peter D. Unruh officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
