Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, Nov. 10, 1946 Orville G. Pankey Is Dead At Colfax Orville G. Pankey, 39, resident of Lewiston for 20 years and employed as a steamfitter for the Lewiston Plumbing, Heating & Sheet Metal Co., died Friday night at 11 at a Colfax hospital. Death was attributed to a kidney ailment after a week's illness. He had been at the hospital two days when death came. Mr. Pankey was a native of Idaho, born April 24, 1907 at the old town of Kippen. He came to Lewiston in 1926 and followed his trade except for the time he operated the Green Mill beer parlor in Clarkston. Survivors include his widow, the former Grace Hulse; three daughters, Bonnie, Verla and Dianne, all residing in California; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pankey, Lewiston; and three brothers, Carl Pankey, Bishop, Ernest Pankey, Orofino, and Vernett Pankey, Redmond, Cal. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 from Brower-Wann chapel, the Rev. A. C. Wischmeier? officiating. Interment will be in Normal Hill cemetery. |
