Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, December 8, 1926 Death of Former Resident R. M. Palmer Passed Away Monday Night Near Seattle. A message received in Lewiston yesterday announced the death of R. M. Palmer, former Lewiston resident, at Kingston, near Seattle, on Monday night. Mr. Palmer came to Lewiston about 35 years ago and resided here with his family for a good many years. He went to the Klondyke in the late nineties and when he returned, he remained in Lewiston only for about a year, later establishing his residence at Seattle. Mr. Palmer was about 73 years of age and his death was the result of complications incident to his advanced age. Mr. Palmer is survived by four daughters and one son, they being Mrs. George H. Kesler and Mrs. Mamie White of Lewiston; Mrs. Hattie White, Los Angeles; Mrs. Lulu Kaylor, Long Beach; A. L. Palmer, Berkeley. Mr. and Mrs. Kester and Mrs. White left yesterday for Seattle to attend the funeral. |
