Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, May 11, 1960 Mrs. Nellie Palmer Dead At Hospital Mrs. Nellie Palmer, 86, 1920 Alder Ave., Lewiston Orchards, died at 11:20 a.m. yesterday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Death was due to the infirmities of age. She had been at the hospital a week. Mrs. Palmer was born Aug. 25, 1873, at Princeton, Ill. In 1888 she was married to Jonas Palmer at Fremont, Neb. The Palmers moved to the Lewiston area in 1923, where she had resided since. Mr. Palmer died in 1934. Mrs. Palmer was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors are five sons, Winfred, Jonie and Carl, Lewiston, Richard of Hermiston, Ore., and Aldred of Sparks, Nev.; two daughters, Mrs. Iva Bausch, Lewiston, and Mrs. Burns Creach, Mack Creek, Mo.; brother, Richard Riley, Atkinson, Nev.; and 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home.
