Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, February 10, 1920 But Few Cases At Gifford Influenza Report - Mrs. Nat Overman Dead. Gifford, Feb. 8 (Special to the Tribune) Mrs. Nat Overman, of Cottonwood canyon, has been the first to succumb to influenza. Having had tuberculosis, she was unable to combat the added disease and died at her home in the canyon Thursday morning. She leaves a husband and seven small children, the husband and several of the children being ill with influenza, one a baby ten months old. Burial took place in the Gifford cemetery Saturday. |
