Lewiston Morning Tribune Tues., Jan. 16, 1945 Ole Oleson, 85, Dead; Pioneer of Reubens Ole Oleson, 85, central Idaho resident for 40 years, homesteading at Reubens in 1904, died at 6:30 yesterday morning at St. Joseph's hospital of infirmities of age. He was born in Norway Dec. 6, 1859, and came to the United States in his youth. He retired from farming when he moved to Lewiston 28 years ago. Survivors include his son and his daughter, Gunnard Oleson, Lewiston, and Mrs. Otis Taylor, Kirkland, Wash., and his sister, Mrs. Lena Oleson, of this city. The body is at Brower-Wann chapel with funeral arrangements pending. His headstone gives his name as Ole Olsen |
