Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, December 18, 1959 Harry Ogden, 84, Dead At Portland Harry G. Ogden, a retired barber and band leader and former Lewiston resident, died Tuesday at Portland, where he had lived for the last 14 years, it was learned here yesterday. He was 84. Mr. Ogden and his late wife lived here two years in the mid-103-s. She is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery and he will be buried there after funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Brower-Wann Chapel. Mr. Ogden was born Oct. 31, 1875, in Iowa. He lived in Nebraska and Colorado before moving to Lewiston. After leaving Lewiston, he managed an apartment house and a hotel at Portland. Mrs. Ogden died June 21, 1945. Mr. Ogden had been an invalid for about three years. Death was attributed to infirmities of age. Survivors include a nephew, Wallace Jones, Clarkston; a niece, Mrs. Paul Wood, Lewiston; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Flora Jones, Lewiston. |
