Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, July 5, 1930 Death Deprives Him of Legacy Reubens, July 4. Frank Nugent, 60, farming eight miles northeast of this place for the last 20 years, died today following a stroke of apoplexy. He had been ill several months but able to continue his work. He was stricken when he went to look at some stock in a field near the house. He was heir to the $26,000 estate of his brother, Owen Nugent, who died four months ago and left a will naming the brother who passed away today as his chief beneficiary. Frank Nugent was willed the entire estate except for $1 left to each of two sisters and a brother. The estate is bring probated in Lewiston. The brothers were bachelors. The surviving sisters and brothers are Miss Ella Nugent, Edmonton, Canada, who has been staying at the home of her brother since Owen Nugent died, and Mrs. Bridget Cush and Hugh Nugent, Ireland. Arrangements for burial have not been completed. The body is at the Brower-Wann parlors. |
