Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, September 16, 1937 A. C. Ninneman Is Taken To Reward A. C. (Duff) Ninneman, 65, a resident of Lewiston until four years ago, died Sept. 13 at the home of his son, Jack Ninneman, Alexandria, Va., according to an announcement received yesterday by Lewiston friends. Mr. Ninneman came here 35 years ago with his brother, Walter Ninneman, and established a retail hardware store which withdrew from the field after 13 years. Later he served several years as night clerk at the Lewis-Clark hotel and upon leaving Lewiston he was employed at Boise. For the last two years he made his home with his son at Alexandria, who was formerly assistant city engineer under Engineer William P. Hughes. Four Children Survive Mr. Ninneman is survived by four children, Jack, at Alexandria; Mrs. Ira Chapman and Kenneth Ninneman, Bremerton, Wash., and Paul Ninneman, Boise; also a sister, Mrs. Ida Donovan, Kalispell, Mont. The body was cremated at Alexandria and the ashes will be sent to Lewiston for committal at Normal Hill cemetery with arrangements in charge of Vassar-Rawls. The date of the service here has not been announced. |
