Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, September 15, 1942 Mrs. George Neupert Is Called By Death Mrs. Irene Avery Neupert, 71, wife of George J. Neupert, 821 Seventh avenue, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 5:30 o'clock yesterday morning of heart disease. She was taken to the institution only a few hours before she expired. Mrs. Neupert had been a resident of Lewiston for more than 15 years. Mr. Neupert during that time heading the department of mathematics at the Lewiston normal and carrying on the additional work of instructor in the instrumental music at the school. He resigned in June and is now teaching mathematics at the Lapwai high school. Mrs. Neupert, born at Forest Grove, Mich., April 17, 1871, was a member of the Presbyterian church and active in its work. Her husband and daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kellogg, Berkeley, Calif., are the survivors. The body is at the Brower-Wann chapel, with funeral arrangements pending. |
