Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, December 12, 1919 Mrs. J. R. Nelson Dead. Succumbed at Seattle - Interment Be in Lewiston. Frank Nelson yesterday received a telegram announcing the death at Seattle of his stepmother, Mrs. J. R. Nelson. The message came from Mrs. Nelson's brother-in-law, Lawrence Humphrey, with whom she had been engaged in the merchandising business until a short time ago. The message stated the remains would be brought to Lewiston for interment, and it is probable the funeral will be held Sunday. A letter recently received by Frank Nelson announced that Mrs. Nelson was in the hospital, presumable suffering from gallstones, an ailment with which she had been afflicted for some time. Mrs. Nelson left Lewiston about six years ago. She has a wide circle of friends here. |
