Death of J. C. Mafe

Succumbs at Home of Daughter in Lapwai Yesterday Morning.

Jeremiah C. Mafe, 84, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose M. Polly, at Lapwai, yesterday morning. Mr. Mafe had lived with his daughter for the past two years, coming to Lapwai from Chicago where he spent most of his life.

He is survived by three sons, two daughters, seven grand children and two great grand children. The sons are George and Fred of Chicago, and John of Miami, Fla. The daughters are Mrs. Polly and Mrs. Lillian Howard of Seattle.
