Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, May 29, 1939 Oliver Murray, 67, Is Taken By Death Oliver Murray, 67, who came from Kellogg to Lewiston 12 years ago as claimant of the estate of his brothers, Joseph Murray, died at 12:30 yesterday afternoon at Somerville home. His health had been failing for more than one year. Upon the death of Joseph Murray, a pioneer of the Culdesac-Lapwai region, his estate believed in excess of $20,000 was held by the public administrator awaiting a claimant. About two years later Oliver Murray appeared as claimant, but the estate was not as large as first believed. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Berger, Brownsville, Ore., and Mrs. Celeste Bly, Big Sandy, Mont. The body is at the Vassar-Rawls funeral home. Arrangements for burial are pending. |
