Mrs. Mary J. Munden, Pioneer, Succumbs

Mrs. Mary Josephine Munden, 84, native of Oregon and pioneer of the Lewiston-Clarkston valley in 1890, died yesterday morning at the Eastern State hospital, where she had been a patient for the last six years. Her birthplace was Oregon City, Ore. She was a communicant of the Baptist church.

Survivors are four sons, Arthur Munden, Clarkston; Noel Munden, Walla Walla; Ralph Munden, Milton, Ore.; Dale Munden, Riggins, three sisters [daughters], Mrs. C. C. White, Clarimont, Alberta, Can.; Mrs. Tom Bowdish, Tacoma; Mrs. Agnes Driskill, Milton, Ore.; 31 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
