Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, April 18, 1916 Remains Interred Here. The remains of Dorothy Moffitt, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Moffitt, of Lapwai, were laid to rest yesterday afternoon in the Lewiston cemetery following brief services at the residence in Lapwai and the burial services at the grave. The child passed away Sunday from leakage of the heart following an attack of pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Moffitt have the sympathy of the entire people of the Lapwai region. Only three weeks ago a younger daughter [Melissa Dollie Moffitt] passed away and three years ago a little son [John Richard Moffitt] was called. |
