Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, October 29, 1938 J. B. Mitchell Dead Week After Stroke J. B. Mitchell, 71, a resident of this community for 40 years and owner of a group of cabins in the 700-block on Snake River avenue, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 3:30 yesterday morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke suffered one week ago. He was a native of Texas, born July 3, 1867. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hattie Mitchell; three sons and one daughter, Clarence Mitchell, Boise; Ralph Mitchell, Yakima; Ray Mitchell, Pendleton, Ore., and Mrs. Bunny Kirkham, Norman, Okla. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 from the Vassar-Rawls chapel, with the Knights of Pythias, of which Mr. Mitchell was a member for 20 years, in charge. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
