Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, October 13, 1914 Mrs. Miller Dead. Passed Away Yesterday Afternoon Following Operation. Mrs. Mabel Bodine Miller, wife of Leonard L. Miller, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock following an operation performed at the St. Joseph hospital a few days ago. Mrs. Miller had been in poor health for the past several weeks but her condition was not considered serious until last week, when she was seized with sinking spells, and was hurried to the hospital for the operation. Mrs. Miller was about 30 years of age and came to Lewiston to reside nearly five years ago. She was a lady of many charming qualities and during her residence here endeared herself to a large number of friends, to whom her death comes as a great shock. Besides her husband and 18-months-old son, she leaves her parents, two brothers and a sister, who reside in Clarkston' a sister, engaged in teaching school at Agatha; two brothers and a sister in Elberton; a sister in Arizona and a sister in Montana. Mrs. Miller's condition was much improved Wednesday and at that time it was believed she would soon recover. Yesterday morning her condition showed a change for the worse and she passed away during the early afternoon. The funeral arrangements will probably be made today. |
