Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, January 22, 1915 Alfred Miller Dead. Was Resident of Lewiston Country for Past Fifteen Years. Alfred Miller died at the home of his son, Clark Miller, Steel addition, Wednesday evening at 7:15 o'clock, death resulting from weaknesses attending old age, Mr. Miller being 74 years and 21 days old at the time of his passing away. The deceased moved to Lewiston with his family about 15 years ago, living a retired life, spending a little of that time on a ranch he owned in the Clearwater country. Mr. Miller was a member of the Masonic fraternity, and a man who commanded the respect of all who knew him. Eight children survive, three daughters and five sons, these being Mrs. H. C. Croy and Mrs. David Hoffer, of this city; Mrs. Harry Sharrock, Rochester, N. Y.; Clark, Jeremiah, Charles, Nell and Jacob Miller, all of this city. The funeral arrangements have not been completed, awaiting the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Hoffer, touring the east, and who were notified of Mr. Miller's death. They are expected to arrive here Sunday. Mrs. Sharrock is now in the middle western states and will be unable to be present. |
