Mrs. Emma P. Michael Succumbs At Hospital

Mrs. Emma Pearl Michael, 48, wife of Raymond Michael, of Ferdinand, passed away at White's hospital yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a weeks' illness. Several days ago Mrs. Michael underwent an operation and was in serious condition when brought here for treatment. She was a native of Indianapolis. The family resided in Lewiston 14 years before moving to Ferdinand in 1931.

Surviving are a husband, two sons, Gordon Michael, Lewiston, and Dale Michael, Moscow; a father, Ezra Smythe, Portland; a brother, Ray S. Smythe, Portland; a half-brother, Walter Day, Los Angeles; and three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Greenwood and Mrs. Rollo Roberts, Portland, and Mrs. Ralph Roseberg, Tacoma.
