Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, November 24, 1935 Mrs. Emma P. Michael Succumbs At Hospital Mrs. Emma Pearl Michael, 48, wife of Raymond Michael, of Ferdinand, passed away at White's hospital yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a weeks' illness. Several days ago Mrs. Michael underwent an operation and was in serious condition when brought here for treatment. She was a native of Indianapolis. The family resided in Lewiston 14 years before moving to Ferdinand in 1931. Surviving are a husband, two sons, Gordon Michael, Lewiston, and Dale Michael, Moscow; a father, Ezra Smythe, Portland; a brother, Ray S. Smythe, Portland; a half-brother, Walter Day, Los Angeles; and three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Greenwood and Mrs. Rollo Roberts, Portland, and Mrs. Ralph Roseberg, Tacoma. The body is at the Brower-Wann chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending. She was a member of Lauren chapter of the Eastern Star. |
