St. Joe, Idaho, Dec. 28 - (Special to the Tribune) - Mrs. E. D. Merriman died here today, aged 88 years. She was ill only a few days with bronchial pneumonia and possessed her strong mental powers until the last. She leaves two sons, Bert Merriman of St. Joe and Russ Merriman of Reardon, Wash., and two grandchildren, Earl Sommers of Missoula, Mont., and Birdie Sommers of St. Joe. Interment will be in the cemetery at Spokane tomorrow.
