Leroy Melcum, 73, Farmer, Succumbs

Leroy Melcum, 73, for the last 35 years prominently identified with farming in the Mohler community, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 5:55 last night of heart disease. He was received at the institution Sunday.

Mr. Melcum was a native of Iowa, born April 17, 1872. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delpha Melcum; his sister, Mrs. Ernest Lacey, Peck; two brothers in Kansas; eight granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.
