Mrs. E. Matheny Taken By Death

Mrs. Mary E. Matheny, 69, wife of Edwin L. Matheny, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 9:45 last night after a long illness. She was a native of Illinois and had been a resident of Lewiston 26 years.

Survivors include her husband, Edwin L. Matheny; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Boatsman, Spokane; one sister, Mrs. Emma Richey, Honolulu; four brothers, Henry Kornbaum and Frank Kornbaum, both of Enid, Okla; Ed Kornbaum, Amarillo, Tex., and William Kornbaum, a resident of Kansas; also three grandchildren, Ruby Williams, Spokane, and Helen Miller and Evelyn Miller, daughters of Mrs. P. D. Miller, 226 Second avenue. She was an affiliate of the Prayer league tabernacle.
