Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, February 26, 1947 Louis Martinson, 60, Taken By Death Louis Martinson, 60, a native of Norway and a resident of Lewiston for 20 years, died yesterday at St. Joseph's hospital. He had been an employee of Potlatch Forests, Inc., for many years, both here and at Elk City, where he resided before coming to Lewiston. His home was at 2108 12th Ave. He was born Feb. 16, 1887, at Vestraalen, Norway, and came to the United States in 1921. He was married May 21, 1930, to Johanna Wold. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Clarkston and a member of the Son's of Norway lodge. Survivors are his widow, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Martinson, Lewiston, and Mrs. Fritz Fredrickson in Norway, and three brothers, Peter, Prineville, Ore., Elliot, Taylor Falls, Minn., and Hendrick in Norway. The body is at Brower-Wann funeral home, with arrangements pending. |
