Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, October 27, 1924 Death of Palouse Pioneer Mrs. J. P. Manson Dies Sunday After Long Illness. Funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Manson, who died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Fannie Durant of Clarkston, will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Vassar chapel, Rev. N. E. Beach officiating. Mrs. Manson was a pioneer of this region, having lived for the past 32 years in the Palouse country. Death was due to paralysis which was brought on following a nervous breakdown six years ago. Since that time she has been residing with her daughter, Fannie Durant, and with another daughter, Mrs. J. S. Bryant. Besides a husband, Mrs. Manson is survived by seven children and grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was for many years a faithful member of the Christian church. |
