Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, August 30, 1938 Mrs. W. J. Mace Dead After Long Illness Mrs. Anna Mace, 72, wife of W. J. Mace, died at 4:20 a.m. yesterday at her home, 722 Sixth avenue, after several months' illness. Born in Wisconsin, May 7, 1866, she married Oct. 11, 1899, and with her husband and children moved to Lewiston in 1911. Mrs. Mace was active in the affairs of St. Stanislaus parish and was an affiliate of the Altar society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include her husband, W. J. Mace; four sons and one daughter, Edward Mace, Spokane; Neal Mace, Sunnyside, Wash.; Mark Mace and John Mace, both of Lewiston; Mildred Mace, Moscow, and three sisters, Mrs. M. Barber and Mrs. Rose Shea, both residents of Wisconsin, and Mrs. Elizabeth Morrow, Chicago. Tonight at 8 a rosary service will be held at the Vassar-Rawls chapel. Funeral services will be from St. Stanislaus church tomorrow morning at 9. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
