The Daily Astorian Astoria, Oregon, Friday January 17, 1890 Moscow, Idaho, Jan. 15. Judge John Lee Logan died at Lewiston, Idaho, at 11 o'clock this morning. He was born in Salem, Va., March 5, 1848, and admitted to the bar at Salem when 21 years old. He then went to New York city, where he worked as clerk in a lawyer's office three years; then going into business for himself in the firm of Logan & Mellis, with a lucrative Wall street practice, until March 14, 1888, when he received an appointment as associate justice of the supreme court of Idaho. He married Miss Gertrude Tucker, daughter of Hon. Randolph Tucker, of Virginia, in 1883. He left no children. Wood River Times Hailey, Idaho Monday, January 20, 1890 Judge Logan Dead.
