Two Deaths Yesterday.

Miss Catherine Lansing [Lanser] and Ed Sanders Victims.

Two deaths occurred in Lewiston yesterday from pneumonia developing after an attack of Spanish influenza. In the afternoon Miss Catherine Lansing, aged 42, died at St. Joseph's hospital, and her funeral will be conducted this morning in the Lewiston cemetery. Rev. Father Vincent Chiappa officiating. Miss Lansing was among the most devoted of Red Cross workers and for the past year and a half gave practically all of her time to this humanitarian work, being engaged in the surgical dressings department. Her loss to the community will be keenly felt.
