Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, August 18, 1951 Mrs. Annie Knudson Passes At Age Of 92 Mrs. Annie Knudson, 92, a resident of Lewiston since 1946 and a native of Norway, died at 3 yesterday morning at the Somerville home, where she had been a patient for six weeks. Death was attributed to the infirmities of age. Mrs. Knudson was born Jan. 28, 1859, at Aardul Sogn, Norway, and moved to Mohall, N.D., in 1885. She was married to Knud Knudson at Wanpaca, Wis., on May 5, 1886. He died in August, 1949. Mrs. Knudson was a communicant of the Lutheran church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cora Mickelson and Mrs. Mary Haughton, both of Lewiston, and Mrs. Carl Anderson, Seattle; two sons, Adolph Knudson, Seattle, and Arthur, Bottineau, N.D., and 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran church by the Rev. L. K. Swantz. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. Vassar-Rawls funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Spokane Daily Chronicle Annie Knudson Lewiston, Idaho, Aug. 18 - Funeral services were conducted at the Lewiston Trinity Lutheran church at 4 p.m. today for Annie Knudson, 92, native of Norway and a resident of Lewiston for the last five years. The Rev. L. H. Swantz officiated, and burial followed at Normal Hill cemetery, the Vassar-Rawls funeral home in charge. Mrs. Knudson was born January 28, 1859. She had undergone an operation six weeks ago and was convalescing at the Sommerville home at the time of her death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cora Mickelson and Mrs. Mary Houghton, both Lewiston, and Mrs. Carl Anderson, Seattle; two sons, Adolph Knudson, Seattle, and Arthur Knudson, Bottineau, Md.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. |
