Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, August 25, 1934 Pioneer From Norway Passes Here Yesterday William Kilde, 89, pioneer of Moscow, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Vollmer, 1213 Idaho street, yesterday. He came to Moscow from Norway when a boy and resided in that area for 60 years before taking up his residence in Lewiston 12 years ago. He is survived by four sons, Gilber Kilde, Colfax, Henry Kilde, Troy, John Kilde, Spokane, Paul Kilde, Wenatchee, and two daughters, Mrs. Vollmer and Mrs. Frank Williams, both of Lewiston. The body is resting at the Brower-Wann parlors awaiting funeral arrangements. |
