Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, Oct. 2, 1947 Elvin Ketchersid Summoned By Death Elvin L. Ketchersid, 67, Lewiston store clerk, died yesterday morning at 2 at St. Joseph's hospital following a heart attack. He suffered a stroke Monday night and had been hospitalized since. He was born Sept. 22, 1880, in Tennessee. He married at Lincoln, Neb., Nov.16, 1915, and came here in 1919 from Topeka, Kan. His Lewiston residence was at 0123 1st St. Survivors include his widow, Iva Mae, of Lewiston; four daughters, Mrs. Esther Malcom, Lewiston; Mrs. Norma Bradshaw, Spokane; Mrs. Irene Edwards, Seattle, and Mrs. Elizabeth Baird, Hawthorne, Calif.; five sons, Milton, Melvin and Neal, all of Lewiston; Leonard, Wichita, Kan., and Wayne, of Spokane; and two sisters and a brother in Oklahoma. The body is at Vassar-Rawls mortuary. Funeral arrangements are pending. |
