Spokane Daily Chronicle Sat., March 18, 1944 Charles Kazda Lewiston, Idaho, March 18 - Charles Kazda, 71, resident of the Lewiston and Southwick communities for 40 years, died Thursday night at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Bohemia and came to the United States in 1890. He operated a sawmill at Southwick for a number of years. Survivors include a sister, Sister Dechanial of the St. Joseph's hospital staff; and two brothers, Matt and Sylvester, both of Lewiston. Funeral services were held today at St. Stanislaus church, with the Rev. Father Francis Gleason officiating, and burial was in Normal Hill cemetery. |
