Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, March 5, 1944 James Jackson, 72, Is Taken By Death James Jackson, 72, resident of the Gifford area for the last 40 years, died at St. Joseph's hospital early yesterday after an illness of two months. Death was attributed to heart disease. Mr. Jackson was born in Montgomery county, Ky., Oct. 25, 1871. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are his brother, Charles Jackson, Portland, and two step-sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Frost, Lewiston Orchards and Mrs. Annie Knight, Newburg, Ore. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 from the Vassar-Rawls chapel with interment in the Gifford cemetery. |
