Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, April 9, 1912 Mrs. Nuel Houghton Dead After a serious illness extending over a period of but two weeks, Mrs. Nuel Houghton, aged 20 years, wife of Nuel Houghton, died yesterday afternoon at 4:15 at the family residence of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Houghton, 1318 Tenth street. At the time of her death, Mrs. Houghton was surrounded by her mother and immediate members of her husband's family. The remains will be shipped at noon today for burial Wednesday at Sandpoint, her former home. Accompanying the remains will be the bereaved husband and his brother and sister, Miss Etha and Roy Houghton, and the grief-stricken parent. Mrs. Houghton was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krieling and prior to her marriage to Mr. Houghton, which took place last December, she was a student at the Lewiston State Normal school. Her death will come as a shock to a large number of friends in this city and elsewhere. |
