Lewiston Teller Lewiston, Idaho, February 18, 1886 Suicide - About three weeks ago a rancher named Simon Himmelguard, whose home was about twenty miles southeast of Lewiston, paid a visit to Colfax, and where he was seized with derangement of mind, and in a fit, cut his throat and nearly severed the windpipe. He was brought to Lewiston and has been nursed and cared for in our jail, till Monday noon, when he died in the greatest agony, and was buried on Tuesday in the cemetery on the hill. |
