Spokane Daily Chronicle May 20, 1938 Antoine Higheagle Lewiston, Idaho, May 14 (Special) Funeral services for Antoine Higheagle, prominent member of the Nez Perce tribe who died here Thursday night, will be held Monday morning from Slickpoo mission. Mr. Higheagle was born at Sweetwater 55 years ago and spent his life there. His father was a chief in the Nez Perce tribe. He leaves his widow, Josephine, and six children, Augusta, Daniel, Mary Rose, Monica and Catherine Higheagle, and Mrs. Thersa May Johnson. Vasser-Rawls has charge of arrangements. |
