A Fatal Accident.

Chas. Hazletine was caught in the gearing of a mill where he was engaged in the capacity of machinist in the city of Spokane last week and received injuries from which he died last Sunday in the hospital. He was passing some rapidly moving cog wheels in a poorly lighted room when his clothing caught and drew his arm into the gearing crushing it badly. The injured arm was amputated but the shock caused death.

The father and mother of this worthy young man are residents of Lewiston. The remains were brought here for interment by Monday's train. The funeral took place Tuesday. The family has the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
