Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, February 27, 1934 Mrs. Harrington Died Last Night Mrs. Lavina Harrington, a resident of Lewiston for 42 years, died at her home, 1927 Main street, at 11:30 o'clock last night after a week's illness. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, January 9, 1850, and came here with her husband, J. M. Harrington, and children in 1892. Mr. Harrington, who passed away in 1896 (date wrong), owned a large sawmill here. Mrs. Harrington is survived by eight children: Mrs. P.N. Williams, Louis Harrington and Geroge Harrington, all of Lewiston; Lafe Harrington, Mohler; Ellsworth Harrington, Cavendish; Jason Harrington, Portland; Mrs. C. W. Robnett, Spokane, and Mrs. William Fredrickson, Perley, Minn. The body is resting at the Brower-Wann mortuary. Funeral arrangements have not been made. |
