Funeral. - The funeral services of the late Mayor Gilman of this city took place at the Court House this afternoon at 2 p.m. and was attended by a large assembly. Business places were generally closed and the district court adjourned to-day in respect to his memory. The diseased was an old resident of this city and a pioneer of this coast, widely known and generally respected for his business and manly qualities for his more than ordinary intellectuel (sic) qualifications. The has held offices of high trust and now leaves a reputation and a name to be envied in many respects.
