Drusilla Doughty, 79, Succumbs At Gifford

Gifford, April 4 - Mrs. Drusilla Edith Doughty, 79, resident of Gifford since 1914 died at her home tonight at 8:30 after an illness of six weeks.

Mrs. Doughty was born in Lafayette county, Wis., Dec. 26, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blewett. She married Thomas E. Conners and at his death she remarried B. F. Doughty.

Survivors are four children, Orrin R. Conners, Wichita, Kan., Elva M. Conners, at home, Fred D. Connors, Bakerfield, Cal., and Mrs. Ethel E. Gross, Portland; also three sisters and two brothers.

The body is at Merchant's chapel in Clarkston with funeral arrangements pending.
